Whereas: The Veterans Administration is currently unable to adequately care for the needs of American military veterans.
Whereas: Secretary Eric K. Shinseki has shown poor judgement during his time as Secretary of Veterans affairs, giving $5.5 million dollars in performance bonuses to employees at a time when benefits claims backlogs ballooned by 155%.
Whereas: The Veterans Administration has been repeatedly accused of mistreating veterans during Secretary Shinseki's time as Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
Whereas: Many American military veterans are dissatisfied with Secretary Shinseki's efforts.
We the undersigned petition President Obama to replace Secretary Shinseki and focus on helping America's veterans.
