As an avid supporter of LGBT and having many friends that are within the community. I always talked to them about issues that are personal or effect the entire american society as whole. I had a talk with my friend, he told me the one fear of having a family to him is explaining to his child why he/she has 2 fathers. Explaining why they do not celebrate mothers day. I believe that Parents Day would make every child in America feel connected. Not every child has a mother, a father or neither. Parents Day replacing Mothers Day and Fathers Day would eliminate this issue. I would not want these 2 holidays to effect a child's mind into believing that their family is any different than others.
