Replace income taxes with a national sales tax.

Eliminate the complex taxation system and instead implement a national sales tax on all purchases of goods and services. This will ensure that everyone pays something and that what they pay is commensurate with their spending power. It also will eliminate the inequity faced by main street businesses competing with online businesses. Individuals and small businesses would no longer be burdened trying to understand and comply with a complicated tax system. Most businesses already collect a sales tax so have the structure in place to implement this.
