The president has a small window of time to appoint a successor to replace Justice Scalia on the Supreme Court. The US. Senate is in a true recess. Any appointment to the Court during this recess cannot be contested, not even under: National Labor Relations Board v. Noel Canning. We urge the president to use the power granted to him by the US Constitution and Federal Law to make this appointment which will allow the Court to function at full capacity. Assuming the next president is a Democrat, the US. Senate will have no choice but to have an up or down vote on the appointment. Please use your Constitutional authority to appoint a replacement to the highest Court in the land. The American people stand with you and we strongly support this action. It's the right thing to do.
