Popular opinion as evidenced by scientific polling deviates dramatically from legislation that is actually produced by our legislative branch.. Clearly the will of the people isn't properly represented. Allow online national referendum upon specific bills when our taxpayer employed representatives are unable to perform the tasks of rational adults. If their vote is indeed representative of our will, then they should have no problem with this.
