We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Replace our First-Past-the-Post voting system and the Electoral College with a more just and representative system.

Created by P.A. on November 09, 2016

Politicians of conscience, with good ideas and policies, but without “electability” can’t run without harming their own party by splitting the vote. Voters like me, can’t vote without first considering how everyone else might vote. We have to worry about throwing away our vote on a candidate that can’t possibly win. We shouldn’t have to. We should be able to proudly declare our enthusiastic support for a candidate we believe in, without sacrificing our opinions regarding who we would find acceptable as an alternative. Politicians should be able to make principled stands, even if it is against their own party.

There are many different methods of voting that would be better than what we have now. One option is a simple Alternative Vote. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Y3jE3B8HsE
