A presidential candidate has been elected president a total of 5 times now without securing the popular vote. It is time we remove the current outdated system with an alternative vote system which allows for direct voting, encouragement of 3rd party voting, and no more "wasted" votes.

This system also requires a 50%+ victory. No more elections where candidates win with less than a majority popular vote.
