We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Replace Paid Administrative Leave with Unpaid Suspension For Law Enforcement Officers Involved in Shootings

Created by T.L. on July 07, 2016

We are calling for all States and Law Enforcement agencies to enact a new policy. If a Law Enforcement Officer discharges his weapon and it results in bodily harm and/or death; rather than being placed on “Paid Administrative Leave” the Officer should be immediately placed on an “Unpaid Suspension”.

At the conclusion of an investigation if it is found that the Law Enforcement Officer’s use of force was justifiable, then and only at that time should they be approved to receive their compensation (retroactively).
