The Pledge of Allegiance is constantly debated. Children are forced to say it in school; it's pretty much taking away their free speech when they are punished for not saying this or mocking it, which is hypocritical. The 'under God' stuff is also pretty annoying to argue about. For this reason, it is proposed that the Pledge of Allegiance is replaced with the Jedi Code:
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the Force.
