As the study from Princeton/Northwestern Universities have further confirmed, the US is no longer a Republic, but is instead an Oligarchy. As such, the Pledge of Allegiance is now inaccurate and needs to be updated. We the People, if there is such a thing, would like to see "Republic" replaced with "Oligarchy" so that when our children make their pledge every day in school, they know more accurately who it is that they are pledging their allegiances to.
We suggest the Pledge of Allegiance be changed to the following:
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Oligarchy for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for the few."
