Replace the existing 9 digit Social Security Number, which is used for SSA benefits, tax, employment verification, credit reporting, medical benefits, and numerous other uses, with more complex codes (17 or more characters). Further, implement a system of trusted users (using a secondary, complex code) for registered users (SSA, tax, credit bureaus), with each business or government entity responsible for their own code. Lastly, make the storage of unmodified PICs illegal, so that should a breach of PICs at a business or government agency occur, the PICs are useless for determining the original PIC codes.
For instance, a PIC code=01E8-4CC89-13A34-Z28W
Trusted User code=2Ebw!aj2uaf*faf(a9w)djfaf128313
Business or Government Agency stores=
