Repond to gas increases (recently 25% in one week). Rising gas = record profits born on the savings of "we the people."

This petition is to ask the President to respond to the rise of gas prices. Our economy weak, incomes stagnant, and family discretionary spending down. How can our government sit idly by while "big oil" has been earning "record profits" from rising prices collectively over the last 8 years? These profits are at the expense of a necessity for "your people." Demand does not go up with rising prices; in fact we the people are forced to drive less or spend more income on gas that can go other places rather than "record" companies. How can one sector do this? Mr. President will you stand up for your people? Go to the streets and ask the impact. Anger, frustration, hoplessness of assistance. My income, my neighbors income does not go up 25% in even a year, let alone a week. Help us.
