In the current environment of negotiation and compromise, the President may consider cutting Medicare and capping cost of living adjustments to Social Security to appease the GOP, who was not elected to guide our fiscal policy. We urge the President to exercise the confidence we gave him to do the right thing by the middle and low income voters who put him in office. Stand your ground, Mr. President!
