Sign this petition if you agree that Congress should represent the people of the United States and not succumb to what Thomas Friedman of the NYTimes called "hammering" or "fear of losing the Jewish vote." AIPAC has often written whole laws and then, quoting Friedman again, "forced" Congress into passing them verbatim. Friedman also said that some of these actions "forced" on our Administration by Israel or their lackeys are actually harmful to the interests of both Israel and the US and violate American values of equality and human rights!
It is shameful when our Congress is so indebted to the Israel Lobby that they applaud Netanyahu more times than our own President. Have we stopped being a government "of the people, by the people, for the people"?
