Lying ignored in a dark government building this morning is a document that encourages all of us as citizens of the United States of America to act when the actions (or inaction) of certain individuals threatens the integrity of our nation. Now, our elected government representatives have, primarily through inaction, threatened the integrity of our government on a global stage.
Any other working American is subject to reprimand if their job performance is substandard? Why as Politicians are our elected officials not subject to the same standards? I implore the President to consider reprimanding the government representatives responsible for the shutdown and if necessary, terminate the employment of those representatives whose mistakes cannot be corrected.
