Recently 270 Strategies consulting firm announced the existence of a group called the Progressive Coalition for American Jobs. The purpose of which is to promote the benefits the Trans Pacific Partnership treaty. There are serious potential problems with this initiative.
1.) TPP is being negotiated in secret, thus the terms are not known to the general public nor should they be known by staff of 270 strategies or the members of PCAJ.
2.) The PCAJ is a completely unknown group among the grass roots community across the political spectrum.
Given the potential breach of the public trust we request 270 Strategies reveal the membership and funding of PCAJ to promote transparency and guarantee PCAJ members or 270 Strategies staff have not been granted special access to classified documents.
