This petition is designed to call national attention to the inhumane treatment of orcas in the United States. As social mammals, orcas should not be forced into solitary holding areas and into forced communities of individuals from different pods. This petition is to ask the federal government to pass legislation ending orca captivity in the United States and ban future capture and holding of orcas.
