Mr. President,
In light of your generous executive order to boost federal employee moral and family ties, the OPM Transmittal letter 6575 on executive order 13682 excluded USPS employees from exercising this holiday. USPS employees work diligently year round from the American public as does the other Federal employees within government, but the month of December is truly a monumental task carried out by Postal employees around the world! Obviously December 26, 2014 is after Christmas and one of the most important seasons within the agency is complete, as several Postal employees will be working Christmas Day nationwide, we urge you to include the USPS and Postal employees December 26, 2014 federal holiday this year to spend the day with their loved ones... Merry Christmas Mr. President!
