We critically need a more educationally and professionally diverse legislative body. The current congress is dominated by lawyers and businessmen with narrow professional backgrounds creating a lack of fundamental knowledge needed for today's technological world decisions.
We need more senators and congressmen with scientific, engineering, social, and other backgrounds.
