Request the banks to give mortgage payers options to skip a year's payment to let them spend it and boost the economy

Created by T.Y. on October 06, 2011

A WAY TO HELP THE ECONOMY AND DOES NOT REQUIRE TAXPAYERS MONEY. Have the banks let the mortgage payers participate in a skip a year mortgage payment program so they can spend that money on other things to help the economy. This will help the people that are in trouble with their mortgage also. The people that are current with their mortgage will be able to spend this extra income on other items and boost the economy in this way creating jobs. The banks do not have to do this as a charity although the taxpayers did bail them out. They will still get their money as the mortgage payer will need to continue paying their mortgage and obviously because they skip a year their final mortgage payment will be also a year later. They can charge for this service by adding a month to the mortgage.
