Request a Bill that requires Members of Congress be subjected to random drug testing if found possessing drugs.

Lawmakers in Washington D.C. have proposed that drug testing be arbitrarily required of those on Government assistance as if to imply that all on assistance are drug users. The requested petition requests that Members of Congress found to be in possession of illegal drugs be subjected to random drug tests or resign if they decline. As a person in the public trust, our representatives must be held to a higher standard. Lay people suffer consequences, so should elected officials.
