Request Bishop V. Gene Robinson, formerly of the ECUSA Diocese of NH, give the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Benediction.

Created by R.E. on January 10, 2013

Now that Louie Giglio will no longer give the Benediction at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, we, the undersigned, request that the Presidential Inaugural Committee select Bishop V. Gene Robinson, retired bishop of the Diocese of New Hampshire in the Episcopal Church of the United States of America.

In the 10 January 2013 PIC announcement, Addie Whisenant, PIC Spokesperson, stated today that "...we will ensure their beliefs reflect this administration’s vision of inclusion and acceptance for all Americans.“

We believe Bishop Robinson is the perfect person to give the Benediction for President Obama's 2013 Inauguration. He has been a brave leader calling for the inclusion and acceptance of all people regardless of differences, whether physical or ideological.
