Request Congress to adopt TERM LIMITS. Perhaps by grandfathering in current members - or by some other negotiation.

Barack Obama is a populest, and though many disagree with him, he can potentially help get things under control in Congress. The move would help him unite a divided country with a popular idea, wich would build him political capital. The fundamental problem with trying to impose term limits on Congress, is that Congress is very unlikely to vote themselves out of any power. If Mr. Obama were to raise this issue with real vocality, and offer Congress an incentive to go along, such as allowing current Congressmen to be grandfathered in, there would be serious movement on the idea. The current Congress would be enticed by the notion of securing their political power. We play to their greed to get whats best for the country.
