VOTING IS OUR MOST BASIC CITIZEN RIGHT!
Elections and voting procedures should NOT be determined or controlled by political parties, but by a responsible government agency. Citizens should be AUTOMATICALLY registered at birth (as we do for Social Security), or upon naturalization. These rights must be guaranteed by the government to every citizen, without any additional conditions and/or requirements.
Political parties are NOT official governmental organizations, but are PRIVATE special interest groups, and should have NOTHING to do with elections and voting. Citizens should NOT have to declare any political party or preference in order to register and vote.
Citizens should pay a nominal penalty of $10 or $15 for refusing to vote, without exceptional circumstantial reasons.
