If certain groups in our country want to be involved in military action, but choose not to volunteer for the honor, then it should be an expectation of all citizens over the age of 18 to serve and defend our country. There should be no high age limit since the people who seem to want us involved in military actions are over 50. Deferments should be very limited and determined on a case by case basis. Alternative service to our country can be done with a nonmilitary organization that works within the US for the benefit of all citizens.
