The F-35 fighter program has failed to meet the needs of our military. The aircraft is behind schedule, slow, has a limited weapons capacity, has a short flight range and lacks the needed manuverability needed to be effective. The aircraft is inferior to the F-16, which it was intended to replace. Instruct congress to defund and cancel the program. Instruct congress to fund restarting the production lines for the F-22 and fast track a 6th generation fighter.
