Request Congress do its job and consider the selection of the candidate to fill the Supreme Court Vacancy

The current vacancy in the Supreme Court requires immediate consideration by the Senate for the filling of this vacancy. If this court is actually viewed as being a necessary component of our government, as envisioned by our founding fathers, then the Congress is compelled to fulfill its duty and consider the candidate put forth by the President of the United States. To suggest that this is better filled after an arbitrary time period is to belittle the Court and suggest that it does not serve the purpose for which it was founded. To suggest that Congress can pick and choose when it should fulfill its responsibilities is an aberration and should not be allowed
