Request Danish Government To Stop Confiscating Valuables From Refugees Entering Denmark

Created by R.C. on December 17, 2015

Encourage the Obama administration to issue a formal request before the United Nations to encourage Denmark to repeal the new Danish law created as of November 13, 2015 that allows Danish border guards and police to seize jewelry and other valuables from refugees entering Denmark. This new law is designed to strip refugees of the few personal possessions they have left to them and smacks of the confiscation of gold and other valuables by the Nazi SS from civilians during the second world war. It is the moral responsibility of the world's civilized nations to lend aid to refugees in their time of need and not prey upon them for an immoral, unethical and unconscionable profit.
