Request that the Dept. of Defense award each and every veteran that was exposed to Agent Orange the Purple Heart Medal.

Created by R.W. on June 04, 2015

Even though these vet were wounded by 'friendly action' which took eleven years after the Vietnam War for the VA to recognize AO exposure as a valid health disability. Thousands have suffered cancer, diabetes, and other disabling sicknesses on an ongoing basis; many have died an early death due to their exposure. I believe we, as a nation, should at least recognize the long-term damage done to these faithful men and women of our armed services with the award of Purple Heart for the real and continuing wounds they have suffered.
