Request that “Emanuel AME Church” be Awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

I’m writing you to request that “Emanuel AME Church” be Awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. I truly feel that it “Emanuel AME Church” deserve the highest civilian awards in the United States or the World. It is awarded to persons who have performed an achievement that has an impact on American history and culture that is likely to be recognized as a major achievement in the recipient's field long after the achievement. American citizenship is not a requirement. This is a building which has survived acts of violent for centuries; the people have rebuilt it time after time. It was a time when the Bible was the only book available to people of color and it was the book a multitude of our ancestors learned how to read.
