Request that ESPN provide cost-effective air time for Drum Corps International Finals for fans.

Created by Z.S. on March 05, 2013

For many years Drum Corps International (dci.org) had a standing contract with ESPN to broadcast DCI finals which includes the top twelve corps from around the country.

We would like for the White House to urge ESPN to provide cost-effective time slots on one Saturday during the summer to broadcast this event on their family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNews, ESPN3, etc)

The arts are an incredible opportunity for students around the county and this provides coverage for the top of the marching arts.

This would help increase the income of DCI and DCI viewership while also giving ESPN another avenue to advertise and put their name out there.
