I want Pres. Obama to request FBI Director Comey's resignation for his recent comments at the U. of Chicago Law School and to the International Assoc. of Police Chiefs linking heightened media attention and public awareness of police brutality on people of color to recent reports of an uptick in some crime statistics. I want leadership at the Dept. of Justice and its agencies that will aggressively investigate and prosecute law-enforcement officers who abuse and murder children and unarmed citizens of any color. With due respect, I am tired of hearing the usual calls for "more training" or more blue-ribbon panels. I believe that these incidents will continue regardless of public awareness and good intentions until officers are held accountable. It's time for Mr. Comey to go.
