request FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler's resignation after delaying a vote on Title II regulation for the Internet.

Created by B.T. on November 18, 2014

FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler has delayed a vote on Title II regulations for the Internet until 2015, after Republicans have control of Congress. He cited the need for more time to 'weigh options,' but the title II option has been around for a very long time. It has been explored by the FCC to a much greater extent than the 'hybrid option' favored by Wheeler, on which the FCC was set to vote before the end of 2014 until President Obama weighed in on the issue.

It seems clear that Wheeler is stalling the vote to Garner more support for his 'hybrid option' from the Giant Telecom lobby and the Republican Congress. This is in clear opposition to the will of the People and the position of the President. Mr. Wheeler should step down.
