In 2007, an alliance named "Nordreich" ("North Rich") in the online political game of Cybernations (cybernations.net) made a recruitment video with Nordic symbolism such as: The Prussian Eagle, The Odal Rune, and The Reichsadler. The background music for the video was the Norwegian National Anthem.
Soon afterwards The Norwegian Foreign Ministry accused the alliance and Cybernations of Nazism. They demanded the YouTube video be removed. Nordreich attempted to explain to the Norwegian Government that none of it's Cyber Nations Members practice Neo-Nazism or Nazism at all, and the images displayed in the video were historically Nordic.
The Norwegian government was criticized by several News Outlets for reacting too quickly. We the undersign hereby ask for an apology for these accusations.
