We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Request from the IRS and publically release all undisclosed tax returns of Presidential candidates.

Created by J.A. on September 15, 2016

In order to make the best choices, it is vital to the electorate to possess detailed information about the financial status of candidates for high office. It is a TRADITION for Presidential candidates to release several years worth of their tax returns in order to inform voters, but sadly it is not mandatory that they do so. Occasionally it might be that a candidate -- for whatever reasons -- will flout the tradition and willfully keep the American people in the dark.

This petition asks the POTUS to exercise his authority as granted by Section 6103g of the Internal Revenue Code to request from the IRS and then immediately release to the public the most recent t 10 years worth of federal tax returns of ANY candidate who has not done do voluntarily at least 30 days prior to Election Day.
