We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Request Justice Department investigation of overt public display of a hate crime (Gay Bashing) at San Diego Padres game

Created by K.H. on May 22, 2016

On 5/21 (Pride Night) at the San Diego Padres game, their organization allowed gay bashing of an invited group of roughly 100 gay men of the San Diego Gay Mens Chorus, who were invited to sing the National Anthem. Instead, and to their public humiliation, a female voice was dubbed in over the voices of the embarrassed (invited) volunteer singers. This should be an affront to any person, gay or straight, who respects dignity and the courage of these men to stand in front of thousands to proudly sing our National Anthem. The Padres allowed "cat calls" from the audience and showed a pattern of homophobia in their organization. MLB gets all sorts of Federal and Anti-Trust Protections. We ask that the US Justice Department investigate this matter and seek remedies.
