In the aftermath of the senseless killings recently, the White House, and others, have suggested that the day of the murder is not the time to discuss these heinous acts or gun control. We agree and feel that the media should not be exempt from this either as it serves no purpose to report about them on that day except to fan the flames of discontent, anxiety, and fear.
