To honor the well respected humanitarian and actor Leonard Nimoy, the government of the United States should rename the dwarf planet previously known as Ceres to Nimoy. This change would also foster renewed interest in the United States space program. With beautiful detailed photos of Ceres (Nimoy) being sent back to Earth from the Dawn space probe, now is the perfect time to do this.
