We face a Global threat from Near Earth Object collision(s); Why not use this collective threat to JOIN countries of the world together and work toward defending humanity rather then simply protecting one's own national interest.
We all have differences in belief, religion, society, and life - but one constant we all share is our home planet we call EARTH.
No man, woman, or child can deny this truth...!
If we can't afford to protect our planet alone, or don't know yet how to do so - then why not collaborate with OTHER global scientists, & in the name of science & self preservation; maybe we can even bridge some of the OTHER differences between us politically throughout the planet...?
Couldn't hurt to at least try - could it?
