It is clear the United States has an increasing polarization of the country due to differing views and behavior on issues such as, but not limited to: voting rights vs voter fraud, anti-abortionism vs women's health, cultural sensitivity vs freedom of expression, individual rights vs gun control, primacy of religious expression vs separation of church and state, and a host of other issues. It is the suggestion of this petition that we allow the american people to vote to split the country into two separate republics/countries rather than continue with this pointless cycle of disenfranchisement were one group is so dissatisfied that it simply will not work with the other.
