request permission from Congress before embarking upon a missile strike mission in Syria.

Although multiple countries have corroborated the use of chemical weapons in Syria, according to the Constitution only Congress has the right to go to war. While engaging in a missile strike of President Assad's weapons stores may blur the lines of what actually constitutes "war," Congress must still be asked. It is not about what the administration wants to do. It's about what the people want the administration to do. Congress may decide in favor, or against. Either way, it will be fair and proper with American law so long as the decision is even put to our Legislature.
