Rep James A. Traficant was a Sheriff from Mahoning County, Ohio for four years, and a U.S. Representative for the 17th congresional district of Ohio for 17 years. He was brought to trial, for 10 counts including Bribery, and filing false tax reurns. His trial was unfair, as he was limited to the amounts of witnesses, subpoenas, and affa daivts he was allowed to present. He was later expelled from the house in a 420-1-9 vote. He went to jail for seven and a half years. In 2014, he died in a tragic farm accident. I ask that you sign this and join me in setting the record straight and restoring Rep. Traficant's legacy.
