We the people, request the President RETRACT the authority granted by Attorney General Eric Holder, to use lethal force by drones against American citizens in American territory, and immediately call upon Congress for legislation to make this action ILLEGAL.
The allowance of drone strikes on American citizens violates numerous civil liberties including but not limited to the 5th and 9th amendments which state: [5th] “No person shall be… deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law,” [9th] “The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.”
It is imperative we retain civil liberties now; otherwise, more will be taken from us in the future.
