Request the resignation of Attorney General Eric Holder.

Created by B.M. on May 21, 2013

Mr. President, on May 21st, the Justice Department again found itself answering questions about a subpoena filed (this time in 2010) against a United States journalist. This is the second time in recent weeks that the integrity of the office was called into question, following the AP scandal of the previous week.

We understand the delicate position that the Justice Department is in. However, these actions represent a very real violation of the first amendment, and Attorney General Eric Holder --the same man who, in 2012, became the first sitting cabinet member to be found in contempt of congress following the "Fast and Furious" scandal -- has continued to offer no solutions to this problem. Therefore, we believe that it is time for him to resign immediately.
