The SSA has been acting as an ATM, freely dispensing funds for one priority after another (none of which are concerns of the SSA) for the federal government since the inception of the SSA, and we always hear the same old story - that we have IOUs which are "payable upon demand." Whomever holds this responsibility, to make these demands for repayment, needs to explain why, when we are constantly running on empty in terms of an economy for the SSA, there has been no return on the staggering monies owed at this point, and what exactly is being waited for - what must happen to make those demands?
