Request that Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations begin accepting Syrian refugees

Created by M.F. on September 04, 2015

A recent Washington Post article (link below) laid bare the dismal record of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations in opening their countries to the waves of people fleeing violence in Syria and elsewhere: ZERO refugees have been resettled within their borders. Europe faces millions crossing land and sea; Turkey and Lebanon struggle under the increasing burden; and our government must weight its own role in the crisis. Is it not right we also ask these nations, supposedly our strongest allies in the region, to start using their ample resources to help as well?
