Request with the Security Council of the United Nations to vote for a special session regarding the Venezuelan crisis

Created by H.G. on February 20, 2014

We request that President Obama to ask to the Security Council of the United Nations to vote for a request for a Emergency Special Session because of lack of unanimity in the actual Venezuelan crisis. (Ref. UN resolution 377A(V), "Uniting for peace")

Convinced that the recent events in Venezuela are an explicit and clear manifest of the desire of the Venezuelan people to exercise and to enjoy fully the fundamental rights and freedom; and as a result of the recent use of the military forces to suppress the efforts of the Venezuelan people to reassert these rights;

We formally request to the Obama's administration to help Venezuelan people and be an active part in the process to request the Secretary-General of the United Nations to undertake immediately the necessary action.
