Rather than an outright boycott of the Olympics, which is unfair to the athletes who train all their lives for this opportunity, let's find a way to support our LGBT family and friends with a subtle, but still in-your-face, poke at Putin. by adding or incorporating the "rainbow flag" in some way in our official uniforms. I am unsure if there is an IOC rule against this, but I would think something could be done to comply.
