All international students who have earned a Masters or higher degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Medicine(STEM) at US universities have lived here for 2 to 5 years or more and are very well trained to fulfill the industry needs. Moreover they understand that a innovative and prosperous American industry is in the interest of the whole world as evidenced by American STEM contributions throughout the last century. This fiscal year, the H1B CAP (20,000 for US Advanced Degrees and 65,000 for general foreign workers) has reached within one week(April 1-5) triggering lottery and signifying the industry need and mimicking what has happened in 2007 and 2008. That was followed by severe slowdown in 2009. Please take some urgent action to keep US university grads in US if they want to.
