Request for VETO on any proposed increase of Federal Minimum Wage.

Created by J.T. on February 16, 2014

That any legislation proposing an increase to the Federal Minimum Wage be vetoed. This request is based on my own first hand experience as a business manager during previous increases to the F.M.W.

As the FMW increases, so do prices charged by business owners. Simple math - If they have to pay employees more, they charge customers more. This simple process means that, even though an American makes more per hour; they in fact make no more money overall. Further, anyone who was already making more than the FMW, now also bares the increased prices, forcing our "middle-income-class" even further into the "lower-income-class". Employers also cut jobs, and cut hours, to compensate the costs. Simply: Increasing the FMW is a sure fire way to make the Economy worse.
